October 2008, Montreal, Quebec – The year 2008 will certainly go down as one of the busiest ever at J.B. Martin.  “As a part of this year’s marketing plan, the company had an objective to heighten our visibility in the composites industry and as far as this is concerned, we can easily say that it is mission accomplished” states Normand Carpentier, J.B. Martin’s sales and marketing manager of the companies’ composites division.

Along with several smaller industry events, the company has been present in two major international trade shows so far this year and plans to do three others prior the end of the year.  The following is a brief synopsis of each of the major international shows where J.B. Martin has or will be present in 2008:

JEC Composites Europe:  With more than 27 000 visitors and over 1 000 exhibitors, the JEC Composites Europe show is  by far the biggest composites trade even in Europe. This year’s show that was held in Paris from April 1^st to April 3^rd, was a great occasion for J.B. Martin to see and thank our many distribution partners from around the world as well as to meet a number of new customers and new potential distributors.

The China International Composites Industrial Technical Expo: Held in Shanghai from September 17^th to 19th, the 14^th edition of this prestigious event was held in conjunction with Composite One China, one of J.B. Martin’s major distribution partners in Asia.  Attendance was high and we met visitors from more than 10 countries.

International Boat Builders exhibition and conference (IBEX 2008): This is the eight’s year that J.B. Martin will be participating in this important boat building show, the only event of its kind in world. We will be in booth no. 2516 and wish to invite potential customers to learn more about high performance reinforcement materials adapted to vacuum assisted processes and how to equate product quality with cost savings by using our products.

JEC Composites Asia: More than 25 000 visitors are expected to be present at the new JEC Composites Asia show to be held in Singapore from October 22^nd to 24^th.  J.B. Martin will be in attendance with our distributor, RP Products, and will be showing for the first time in south east asia.

FEIPLAR Composites 2008 (November 11^th to 13^th):  It will be J.B. Martin’s second participation in this important South American composites show to be held in Sao Paulo Brazil.  We expect a good turnout for this event and will profit from our presence to meet distributors from Brazil, Columbia and other customers who would like to know more about our high performance reinforcement materials.
